SUMMARY:Space Resources Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:The 9th KGK Space Resources Conference – Interdisciplinary Fron
tiers in Space Resource Utilization will take place on 3–4 September 2026 i
n Kraków, Poland. The event will be held primarily on-site, with selected c
ontributions available online on demand.\n\n Conference website Call for
Abstracts Register for the Conference \n\nAbout the Conference\n\nAs space
exploration enters a new and dynamic phase, rapid technological progress a
cross many disciplines is reshaping how humanity approaches the exploration
and utilization of space resources. Addressing these challenges requires c
lose cooperation between diverse scientific and engineering communities.\n\
nThe Space Resources Conference provides an open and interdisciplinary foru
m for discussing state-of-the-art technologies, emerging concepts, and key
challenges related to space exploration and the responsible use of extrater
restrial resources. A central goal of the conference is to promote sustaina
ble approaches that support both the future of space activities and the pro
tection of Earth’s environment.\n\nThe 2026 edition places a strong emphasi
s on interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together experts from engine
ering, planetary science, robotics, materials science, economics, and relat
ed fields. Participants will explore innovative pathways for space resource
utilization, in-space manufacturing, and the development of future off-Ear
th infrastructure.\n\nBuilding on the success of previous editions, the con
ference will once again host an international community of researchers, pra
ctitioners, and industry representatives. The program includes plenary and
invited lectures, technical sessions, poster presentations, panel discussio
ns, and industry-focused contributions. A range of social and cultural even
ts will further support networking and knowledge exchange among participant
s.\n\n\n\nTopics\n\n Habitats, Bioastronautics & Life Support Systems, Cha
